We are proud to be a carbon neutral business, our factory is solely powered by renewable energy, and we have won several awards in relation to our sustainability efforts. Through sustainable product development, progressive work practices and a partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, we are determined to make the world a greener place.
Silentnight has become the first & only sleep brand to commit to the SBTi, one of the leading projects in the world regarding decarbonisation intentions.
SBTi is a partnership in collaboration with the UN global compact, the World Resource Institute and the WWF.
Our on-site laboratory is the only one of its kind in the UK. Independently accredited by SATRA, our on site laboratory has an ISO 9001: 2015 certified management system and is registered by the British Standards Institute.
We test all our products for fitness for purpose and to check they meet fire regulations – we ensure all of our hospitality products meet the necessary requirements for the industry and we also undertake routine tests on products and raw materials, from threads to fillings, to verify the quality and consistency of the products we make.
Unless a product specification is certified as legally compliant in relation to regulations, it will not be released to production.
